C/SMy ex lived in Salford and when I wasn't in uni I spent bare time there.When he first moved to Salford in 02 he said it was a bit racist but its generally cool now there. Never got any drama for the 2 years I spent there.I do remember one incident when my bredrin got his jaw weighed in and I think they did say something racist to him but that was after he was hyping to them for time and to my knowledge that is an extremely rare occurence.TBH a lot of them white yutes in Salford have a couple of black kids in their circle.

*fills with nostalgia*around 25 min walk from uni; in my second year at uni i lived nearer the mosque so it was predominantly asian. but amongst students it was known as the 'rough part' of hyde park. Third year i lived nearer the top of hyde park sort of more towards headingley.
