brap1gu8.gifbrap2uv3.gifYOU HEARD IT FROM TALENTSCOUT HIM SELF, THE GUY WITH ALL THE INFOThe 20-year-old has established himself as one of the hottest prospects in Europe over the past few seasons and has been heavily linked with the Gunners in recent weeks.Marseille-based newspaper La Provence reported last week that Nasri was on the verge of agreeing a ₤12.5 million move to the Emirates, and French daily L’Equipe has claimed the playmaker will travel to London tomorrow to undergo a medical and agree personal terms. The Algerian-descended playmaker only recently signed a new contract designed to keep him at Stade Velodrome until 2012, but it has since emerged the deal includes a release clause set at around ₤12 million.Nasri is expected to replace the unsettled Aleksandr Hleb, who has received strong interest from Inter Milan and has recently been linked with Barcelona.Gunner boss Arsene Wenger is likely to install Nasri on either flank, continuing his tradition of converting natural playmakers into wide midfielders, as he has done with the likes of Hleb, Tomas Rosicky and Robert Pires.Nasri is expected to arrive in London early tomorrow morning, where he will meet with Arsenal officials to agree personal terms before undergoing a medical at Shenley. He will then be taken on a tour of the Emirates Stadium, and have his picture taken for the club’s official website.Nasri will fly out around 7:30pm to hook up with France national team in Clairefontaine for their training camp ahead of EURO 2008.

Lol, it's better than Hlebs.
Respected French sports newspaper L’Equipe claim Marseille play maker Samir Nasri will sign for Arsenal tomorrow afternoon, before he returns to France’s Clairefontaine training camp to prepare for the forthcoming European Championships.Young Guns reported earlier in the week about the possible transfer in the comment sections, however since then Marseille based sports newspaper La Provence have confirmed the transfer will take place for a fee of €17.5 million or around £12.5 million pounds. L’Equipe claims it could be as little as €15 million, with the player due in London tomorrow for a medical and personal terms.Only recently Samir signed a new long term contract to 2012, but it later emerged that included in the deal was a release fee between the aforementioned €15-17 million Euro. He is expected to be the replacement for out going Alexander Hleb, which Young Guns speculated could be in talks with FC Barcelona. So despite featuring as an attacking midfielder, Wenger it seems will play Nasri on the wings as he has done with Robert Pires, Alex Hleb, and more recently Tomas Rosicky.Nasri is expected in London early tomorrow morning, where he will meet with Arsenal officals to agree personal terms, and undergo a medical at the Shenley based training centre. He will then travel to the Emirates Stadium where he will be shown around, before having pictures taken for the clubs official website. His day will end as he flys back to France at 19.30 hours for French national team training.http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/20080521_00...boucle_Dev.html

Nasri's signing is likely to be followed by the arrivals of Clement Chantome and Francis Coquelin.Chantome was one of the few Paris Saint Germain players to come out of last season with any plaudits after a string of impressive displays in central midfield. The 22-year-old has been likened to Mathieu Flamini and Wenger is reported to have met with the French Under 21 international in the last week.Coquelin - who is with third division Laval, has been on trial with Arsenal and although he picked up an injury during training - the 17-year-old seems to have done enough to earn a deal.It is believed Coquelin is currently in London undergoing a medical ahead of a deal.

Nasri will be bought to come in & challenge Rosicky & I suspect as Cesc going Euros & might be tired, Nasri might figure in the middle rarely.Hleb's situation is very much 50/50.
