Gonna start running again today.

Can anybody set me a routine to ease myself back into fitness?Considering my fitness is abysmal.

running is annoyingkeep gettin shin splints and ankle pains and achilles achesi am running in high top air force ones tho but im nt payin 4 running shoesjus run for 30 mins or if u wna lose weight do HIITdepends on what u wna do...my fitness levels are appauling even after 3 weeks of running... just to be of an average fitness it will take me another 8 weeks of running because after 20 minutes im having cardiac arrest and my limbs start flailing like nunchuksnt a good look

Can only do about 600m at a time without feeling like throwing up.Truesay there was Lucozade inside me.SMH

Yh, am I the only one who gets some horrible aching pain in his feet once I stop running?I have noticed that running shoes to help this.

if your going to take up running/jogging PLEASE purchase adequate trainers....you could do a lot of damage to yourself running/jogging in generic trainers as they do not support/aid your movement....i invested in some myself, money well spent.....

absolute c/slol @ the guy running in air force 1sit's well worth going down to one of them specialist running shops so they can do that test to discover what type of feet and run-style (ie. how your feet land) you have so that they can recommend you some trainers...which you then go and buy somewhere else for £30 less

Here's onethat I know of:http://www.runnersneed.co.uk/home.aspxif you go in they'll get you to try on different types of trainers and jog on a treadmill so that they can test the way your heels, soles and arches of your feet respond to different types of trainers and which type causes the least/most pressure and damage to your feetyou'll also probably find that when you run you land on the outside of your feet, so flat-soled shoes like air forces will cause immense pressure on the inside of your feet because they're so thick and won't adapt to the way your foot landshence why you complain of ankle paintrust me it's worth investing £60/70 in a pair of proper trainers for running (if you do it regularly) so you're not in pain everytime you go for a jog

Put the treadmill on a slight gradient. It's better for your back.And if you want to improve your overall fitness use the stairmaster and rowing machine.

was running in the gym for an hour last week10 mins towards the end I started feelng pins and needles (slight numbness) in my right foot was annoying

f*ckin helltwisted my ankle and now its swollendunno how long im gna be out 4 wasnt 2 bad of a twist but i think a week without running will have 2 happenfrustration :D :D :D :D
