FINDING WHAT FILES TAKE UP THE MOST MEMORY

OK im using the desktop cus somebody is using the laptopdownloaded a nzb and grabit is extractingnow obv if i dwnload a 7.5 gig rar file extracting also requires around the same amountand i might be a couple gigs shortany help or workarounds?

Dont know what nzb or grabit is but finding 15gb of space should be simple enough unless you have a tiny hard drive

yh tiny 40 gig hddunno where all the other space is taken up tbh ive cleared up like 5 gig from deleting old stuff

guess im just gonna delete rars as it extracts them hop i get no corruptions

temporary folders n that, but doubt it will clear up allot.

thats a tough oneyou could copy some folders eg my pictures, downloads, music, to an external drive/mp3 player/usb stick to free up space, let the extraction complete, delete the rar files then copy the stuff backorĀ£60, 320gb usb powered portable hard drive:http://www.ebuyer.com/product/144528i download straight to this thing via usb

what i did worked in the end just deleted rar files as grabit extracted them, then clocked the desktop had no dvdrw drive so i had to just download everything on the lappy <_<

FolderSizes will tell you what's taking up the most room.
