Brian Kidd has returned to Manchester City as technical development manager at the club's academy. His brief will be to coach both the talented youngsters coming through Platt Lane and also head up the in-service training of the staff.Kidd, who spent seven years as Sir Alex Ferguson's assistant at Manchester United, along with Paul Hart helped keep Portsmouth in the Barclays Premier League following the departure of Tony Adams last season.City's football administration officer Brian Marwood said: 'Brian has vast experience at both club and international level.'He will help maintain the excellent development programme we have in place at the academy," stressed Marwood.'He was much in demand when it became clear he wasn't going to stay at Portsmouth and we are delighted that Brian has chosen to come and work with us.'Still Love Brian Kiddhopefully he does here what he did at Leeds Unitedbut on a serious note This is another case of Fergie letting his own personal difference affect the running of Manchester UnitedKiddo should be in charge of are Youth development programme, How many Kids have come through the ranks since Brian left ;):D (did you see what i did there with the whole Kid Kidd thing) B)

To be honest we did steal Petrucci, but European law allows it so balls to thoses technicalites.Hoping De Rossi had a good relationship with Spaletti and he may be enticed to come over in January. The respect shown to Fergie througout Europe by some top/well known managers is nice to see,He wont be here long though, i think he's just coming over to give his input into training session and a bit tactical stuff, dont think he'l be given aan official role as he'll probably be back in a job before long. But hopefully he can make a positive contribution while his hereand he hasnt just been brought in to give fergie a drinking partner.

Well considering fergie completly ripped off his system at Roma a few seasons ago, it's only fair that he shows him a few more things.
