2009 has seen major birthday celebrations for many of London’s biggest superclubs. Ministry of Sound celebrated its 18th birthday, matter celebrated its 1st birthday and now Fabric gets set to celebrate its 10th birthday. Ten years ago Fabric opened its doors for the first time, bringing art and music together. Now, a decade on, it’s managed to survive where many other clubs have fallen and is still regularly packed to capacity. They celebrate a decade in the business with the Fabric 10th birthday weekend.Thursday Drum and BassFabric has been long associated with heavy bass beats, so to kick off the Fabric 10th birthday weekend they’ll be celebrating with two of their most central fixtures - DJ Hype (whose monthly Playaz night is one of the most popular events the club offers) and Andy C (a regular Friday night fixture). These headline acts will be joined by Caspa, whose Dub Police night has become one of the most ground breaking additions to Fabric this year. The Line-UpRoom OneAndy CDJ HypeRoom TwoDub PoliceCaspaSkreamBengaThis event runs from 9pm-3am on Thursday 15th October. The line-up will cover a showcase of names that have graced the decks of Fabriclive over the last decade, such as the Scratch Perverts, Craze, Klever, Zinc and Filthy Dukes. Open from 11pm on Saturday night, they won’t be closing their doors until Monday morning. That’s a whole weekend of non-stop clubbing. The rave won’t cease at any point, it will just run and run until you can’t take the beat. Some artists will play one set and others will play multiple sets in different rooms across the epic two-day bender. It will be a real family affair with DJs who have helped shape Fabric over the last decade.   The Line-UpCraig RichardsTerry FrancisAndrew WeatherallRicardo VillalobosSteve BugMichael MayerIvan SmaggheMathew Jonson (LIVE)Daniel Bell (DBX) (LIVE)Konrad BlackSwayzak (LIVE)Kenny Larkin (LIVE)Hipp-EHaloFred EverythingRub N TugDoc MartinDaniel WangThe Fabric 10th Birthday Weekend runs from 15th October-18th October 2009. they must have a 24hr alcohol license obviously.they need to apply this concept with better music. you could turn up in the morning to catch the daytime leg of the rave if u couldnt make the night, or u could start out early evening sunday night and make a realy long paced night. would be an interesting experiment...u would definately need some f*ckin mdma or bare pills to keep interested after normal hours tho.
