Nah I haven't tried it, but it does not look visually appetizing to me. I just don't get the point of eating wet soggy rice in a soup, but aye each to their own still. When you try it let me know how it tastes . .

Anybody got any favourite Jerk Marinade tips? Got some scotch bonnets i need to use up.

So far ive got

Scotch Bonnet, Thyme, Sping Onions, All spice, salt, pepper, nutmeg, cider vinegar, lime, ginger, brown sugar

Rum, fresh bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, maybe a clove? Just the one tho like

did this with cinnamon, garlic, a small dash of soy & spiced rum, oil

 

left out the lime

Jerk halloumi with home made pickled cucumber and pickled onions with a dash of mint sauce

This ws actually delicious. I used my uncles jerk sauce.

Jerk aubergine, used way to much sauce. Was ok. Shallow fried the okra in cornmeal flour, pics are no good tho

what's baked/roasted plantain saying?

I have an oven at the office so wanna make easily prepared, cooked lunch

sweet potatoes are calm, peppers, onions, etc

but looking for more that don't take much more than cutting and applying seasoning and leaving to cook
