Tuesday here at Mirror.co.uk's Showbiz Towers and we're very overexcited to hear that our wild speculation about the original line-up of the magnificent Sugababes getting back together is becoming a reality.Yes, we are such massive fans we still treasure and play our promotional copies of the band's first singles Overload and Freak Like Me, which the then schoolgirls Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy released way back in 1998.We were rather sad when Siobhan then quit in 2001, and were definitely miserable when Mutya followed in 2005.But we were cataclysmically angry when founding member Keisha was shoved out by management earlier this year after Siobhan's replacement Heidi Range and then Mutya's substitute Amelle Berabbah said they could no longer work with her.Keisha was then replaced by Eurovision wannabe Jade Ewen, a stage-school singer as far away from the streetsmart teenage savvy stars of original line-up as it was possible to get.At the time, we posited that it would be a rather perfect moment for the original Babes to rise again - and now it seems that it really is going to happen.Just last week, we talked to Keisha about reforming the original line-up while we were on the red carpet at the premiere of the Michael Jackson movie This Is It.At the time, she didn't want to go on camera to confirm or deny it, but once the off-button had been activated, she turned, nodded and winked at us.How exciting! And now it's being reported that the three original schoolgirl friends have been having meetings at a major record label and they've been trying to decide which producer to work with. Scream! We just wonder what the original Sugababes V 1.0 are going to call themselves? Sugacane? Unrefined molasses? Sugabeet Pulp?It will have to be something about Suga in it's original state at any rate...But whatever happens, it'll be brilliant to see two factions of the same original band battling it out in the charts at the same time as they're still massively popular. After all, it's not exactly some faded old Sixties popstars bickering over who uses the original name when there's only one of them left and they've long since fallen out of the hit parade. And, talking of which, while we wait for the original sweethearts to get back in the studio, see who's battling it out in today's gossip charts in the goss round-up...
