I think it depends if you need it. I've had a good life and a good up bringing. If anything, I've lost god. I was raised a Catholic but I'm not exactly practising now.

my 2 penny worth is this,i think it helps you if you can turn to god when things get rough, although this isnt the reason why you should have god in your lifei also think that its good to have something instilled into you from an early age to be brought up in a religion, it generally adds values and morals to a person, ofcourse there are exceptions to this rule!alot of people are very cynical of religion but you normally only ever fall into two camps, those who believe and those who dont
