Young midfielder Mark Randall has joined League One side Milton Keynes Dons Football Club on loan until the end of the season. The 20 year-old who was born in Milton Keynes, joined Arsenal as a scholar in 2006 and made his first team debut a few months after signing for the Gunners, coming on as a substitute in a 2-0 victory against West Bromwich Albion in the Carling Cup. Since then he has appeared in several Carling Cup matches and earned his Champions League debut against FC Twente in August last season, following it up with a second outing against FC Porto in the group stage.Randall also gained first team experience during the 2008/09 season on loan at Burnley, playing ten matches for the Clarets before returning to make his Premier League debut for Arsène Wenger's side in the Gunners' final game of the season against Sunderland.Last season, Mark made more Reserve Team appearances than any of his team-mates and this season he has featured in seven out of nine fixtures in the Reserve League South for Arsenal. He has also featured in two out of three Carling Cup games and was part of the travelling squad for Arsenal's Champions League game against Olympiacos in December.Randall will immediately join up with The Dons and will stay on loan with Paul Ince's side until the end of the season. Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Mark the best of luck during his time at stadiummk.
Young defender Gavin Hoyte has today extended his loan stay with League One side Brighton & Hove Albion until the end of the season. England Youth International Hoyte (19), has made 14 appearances for Brighton since originally joining them on loan in October, has impressed during his loan spell with Gus Poyet's side. Before this campaign, Hoyte had a very busy 2008/09 season, in which he was named Reserves team captain for the campaign by Neil Banfield. Convincing performances in the second-string earned Gavin his First Team debut in the Carling Cup against Sheffield United in September 2008, which was followed by further appearances in the league cup against Wigan Athletic and Burnley. Gavin then made his Premier League debut against Manchester City at Eastlands in November. However, the Club's elimination from the Carling Cup opened the door for a loan move. Arsenal's training ground neighbours Watford were more than happy to oblige and the versatile defender made 10 appearances during a short-term stint at Vicarage Road. In addition to club football, Gavin has also been a regular for England Under-19s, helping the young Lions' qualify for the European Championships. In December, Gavin, brother of former-Gunner Justin, put pen to paper on a long-term contract with the Club. Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Gavin the best of luck during his continued stay with Brighton & Hove Albion.
