And in fairness I could do any number of things the Bible forbids and claim its different because of my personal connection with God.

Its another matter though.

I'm just generally against tattoos.

Especially on women. Look very trashy imo.

Lol I'm no bible basher. The reason why Christianity varies is because people choose to interpret the Bible in different ways.

You have your opinion on this, as do I. Tats can be trashy I agree. If mine doesn't turn out nicely I'll be upset, but I think it will be small and tasteful and everytime I look at it the hope is that I remember everything that brought me to the reason why I decided on getting it done.

Jubez I agree with you love. That's why I'm making this decision for me. The scripture is telling me not to do it to mourn the dead, which I'm not, so imo I'm covered.

Would my parents agree with that? Elders at church? No. But its not their place to decide, its mine. And the consquences of my actions will need to be faced at some point.

the most painful bit ive had done was the part of my leg where my foot bends up to my shin (if that makes any sense, the really thin bit of skin there) not gonna lie that nearly reduced me to tears
