Balotelli: Do I look Ghanaian to you..

97 posts in this topic

Mario Balotelli insists he has no intention of switching allegiance to Ghana.

The Italian-born striker has always played for the country of his birth at youth level - but he is eligible to play for Ghana through his parents.

Ghana have already stated they would like to call on Balotelli for this summer's World Cup finals.

But the 19-year-old insists he is intent on playing for the Azzurri.

"I have never thought of playing for Ghana. If I go with a

national team it will be Italy," Balotelli said.

He's not eligible to play for Italy though, not yet anyway I don't think. Guy's a waste anyways, should just play for Ghana. Not like the Italians appreciate him anyways, guy gets racially abused on a weekly basis .

He was adopted at 2, speaks Italian and was raised there. Does he even have any contact with his birth parents, can he speak any ghanian language or english? He is Italian.

The racial abuse he gets is disgusting.

Yeah it has got me a bit wary of visiting italy, people are always asking me to visit but i'm like ummmmmm, plus this lady that lives near me is black italian and she will go on a proper rant about the racism there and how horrible it was for her growing up( i think she's about 34) it has put me right off, although i have met some lovely italian people.

TBH its like anywhere in Europe, including England.

Go to big cities in Europe, especially those which experience tourism, and your have no problems cos they use to seeing black people.
