Skola loosing it. man's girl was all the status he needed and now she gone. shet.

Lmfao I knew this would move into this room

While at uni I racked up a 2.5 grand overdraft

Sick times, went on holidays etc bought loads of weed, paid it back within a year of graduating

This was before and during the relationship, not after.

I did the bare minimum at uni, academically and socially, finished with maybe 2 good friends and a 2-2 degree. Just split up with my girl of many years and since then realised how little I was...living!

Try:

Exercise 5+ days a wee even a short 15 min jog

Spend less time on ur pc/xbox/ps3

That shud give u more energy, and time, just need money!

Work, or borrow from the bank or wherever you can, then go out and do stuff - there's so much to do at uni I regret not doing more. If u borrow money, don't worry, most students leave in a good bit of debt anyway.

worst bit of advice in the whole thread

prefer to be in debt than depressed

only cos ur depressed now

depression is a mindset / chemical imbalance

debt is very real

"borrow some money and go do some sh*t" is jus a joke ting

really tho?

the finance deals you get at uni are the best you will get in your life. interest free credit for 4 even 5 years. definately something to take advantage of.

dunno how u have me down for depressed tbh. sometimes i feel down, but not depressed. im busy every day with work/studying/socialising from what i know of depression id barely make it out of the house if i had it.

HOW CAN HE ADVISE?!!!

please people I beg no one listens to this guy. only reason to get a loan is if u feel u can invest that sh*t n turn profits quickly.

Interest free? FICTION

The whole big push to get more kids into uni is 1 big scam run by the student loans company.

They are pushing young kids who just turned 18 and putting them straight into debt many will be paying that sh*t while they have grey hairs.

RAPING YOU RECORDS. CONGRATS YOU'VE JUST BEEN RAPED

I agree with Juan.

Getting into debt at uni is just asking for trouble, especially when you have nothing to show for it.

The student loan isn't actually that bad because the interest you pay on it is minimal, my advice would be to start paying it off as soon as you hjave a job.

Overdrafts are evil, they lull you in and you feel like it's money for free, then you graduate, don't have a job, they cut it and start charging you ridiculous interest on it.

Most interest free credit cards or loans have inflated apr rates at the end of that period as well.

Nothing in life is free.

Definitely not getting in to any extra debt that is not needed.

f*ck overdrafts and the like. Only debt I'll be in when I come out is from Student Loan Company. Natwest, Everytime I go in they try to sell me something about Student Credit Cards and how about this overdraft scheme. No Thanks

my movitations is to move away to a next country,

i always think of people who talk like this as dreamers. most people say it cos they want to run away from their problems or just reality. What do you think is so special/different in other countries? and do you think you could handle only seeing your fam a couple times a year?

i suppose i just dont connect with the idea but being broke is being broke it aint gonna be anymore fun if you're broke on some island in the carribbean.

What I think my problem is my Uni isn't a HUGE campus. Its part of a bigger Uni but situated somewhere else. A better location in the city centre but juts smaller. Ive made friends here and that, Thats not the problem its just everything is boring.

It doesnt have its own gym, Unless I want to get a train to the main campus 30mins away. We get a discount at the Marriot though which is in eye distance from my room. Going to join there next week.

My halls isn't really a community either its just a 25 story building. It feels like a prison. Every room is the exact same design, So monotonous.

As for the negativity. I never show it in person. I might do subconsciously but nah don't think I do. A lot of my mates back home are negative always and I can recognise this, I distanced myself form these people.

I used to ride BMX, Think I'll take it up again. I also DJ but dont play out that often, Need to record a mix and send to some people around here, only time I get to play is when Im back home and its nights that my friends are putting on.

I'm in final year of uni, and i literally don't have time for anything other than doing courseworks etc

if you're really bored, you should give yourself something to look forward to

what are you doing this summer? how much money do you think u can realistically save inc deposit back from halls etc?

this is xacly the type of post i would expect from you

ur one a dem posters on here who pree to much, watchin whos broke an who says they have what and why

3 people have stated they are motivated by a desire to move to a nex country, no one has expanded on it, but u've already got your assumptions ready

you are right though you dont connect with the idea so what ur opinion is redundant

you've no idea what position people are in, what plans they might have, why they wanna leave, where they actually want to go

smaddy i used brokeness as an example. i fully dont understand how someones dream can be to move abroad because anyone can do it at any point in time. unless ur still in education u could pack up and go live wherever u wanted 2moro.. there is nothing to stop anyone getting across the world whenever they want. i just dont see how your entire life goal could be something anyone could achieve in 6 months if they REALLY wanted to do it
