Carragher should go. He's got the big game experience. He might have had a bad season but I'd much rather him line up in a WC QF than an uncapped player or Wes f*ck*ng Brown.

Lampard, Gerrard, Milner, Carrick, Parker

Remaining 7 - Lescott, Baines, Huddlestone, Barry, Hargreaves, Ashley, Bent

If Barry or Hargreaves are fit enough to go then I'd drop Parker out. Hopefully one of them makes it, we've got no one else half decent to play the holding role and both cover fullback.

Just watched that ting on ssn with Parlour, Mullery & Francis..

After watching that and reading the papers a few things have got me pissed

1: Heskey, he was a good option last yr but now f*ck off! Defoe, Bent, Rooney, Gabby, Jerome, & Cole have all got into double figures this season so why the f*ck are we still mentioning flippin Ivanhoe.

When was the last time Bruno did anything remotely brilliant??

I dnt wna hear bullshit about he makes Rooney play well etc coz if Rooney is world class like every1 claims then he should be able 2 play with anyone and it now seems Waza is betta as a no.9 than a no.10 so we can play him on his own if we want ina 4-5-1

2: Barry, I swear he played his best football as a box to box player for Villa, crossing for the strikers etc, hes not a great dm, I duno why every1 thinks this guy should play..Parker is x5 the player Barry is

Looks average at City and wastes possession

3: Carrick, its a world cup, England need 2 retain possession, something they failed to do in 06, Carrick is the best English user of the ball in English football, he must not be overlooked

4: Walcott, im sorry but i dnt understand why he like Heskey is in the running to make the 30, they talk about Johnson coming in Jan but hes done more than Theo has done in the whole season. Matty Etherington & David Dunn have had a better seasons than him, we have numerous options, I see no reason to select this guy.

No1 said put him on the plane.. but a case can be made for him seen as a fella named Ivanhoe who has scored 5 league goals since moving to Aston Villa seems to have his placed sorted
