Howard Webb will take charge of Saturday's Champions League final between Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.

It is the latest prestigious appointment for Webb, who is regarded as England's leading referee.

He has also been selected for this summer's World Cup in South Africa.

The 38-year-old has already taken charge of six Champions League fixtures this season.

Fellow Englishmen Michael Mullarkey and Darren Cann will be his assistants at the Bernabeu with Martin Atkinson the fourth official.
