Based in Kent, UK

Born and Raised in Kent (South East England) J:Kenzo was highly influenced by the sounds of both Jungle and Garage and took up DJing way back in 1995. In 2005 he was introduced to the emerging dubstep scene and decided it was time to get in the studio and start putting his ideas into music, making his production debut in 2007 on Soul Shakerz with a release entitled 'Tekno Bass'.

He has seen his tracks played by many of the top dj's in the scene including Caspa and Skream and has had his production, 'Cosmo' feature on the Latest Ministry of Sound CD mixed by The Cut Up Boys. J:Kenzo has seen his music picked up by the world famous and hugely popular Dub Police, as well as one of the longest running and respected dubstep labels Argon Records. Continuing to impress, Heny G has also picked up J:Kenzo for his Gangsta Boogie Music imprint as well as 2nd Drop records he also releases on his own Soul Shakerz imprint which have seen his productions available worldwide.

With an increasing fan base and with forthcoming material soon to be released on Argon, Dub Police and Gangsta Boogie, J:Kenzos touring has been picking up with huge pace. With resident plays at London's prestigious 'Fabric' nightclub as well as touring and gigs in cities such as Las Vegas, Brussels, Ayia Napa, Seattle & Birmingham who have recently being blessed with the heat that is steadily rising around the Kent-based selector. DJ/Producer J:Kenzo is a sought after player within the dubstep scene, not only as an artist but also as a founder of Soul Shakerz Records.

J:Kenzo takes pride with his DJ sets which he is ever evolving and are built for the dance floor. Expect to hear Sub Heavy Dubstep with echoes of jungle, dancehall and house.
