I may need a spot in/around london for a while.

What areas will i be able to rent a decent 1 bed (not a studio) for maximum 650pcm.

Is there anyone else to look at except private landlords

AND

I need to be able to get into central in less than an hour (canary wharf sides)

safe

When you're looking to rent a property, what kind of credit check, security checks, etc do they do?

If you're sh*t's kinda bad, does having a guarantor help? To what extent?

I'm pretty sure you need a guarantor for renting anyway, I should look into it, I'll likely be renting as of August myself.

See, a place like this looks sick to me.

I don't like trusting websites too tough sometimes.

for that price range all i can say is good luck

you will probably need to house/flat share unless you want to be living on top of a chicken shop

http://www.zoopla.co.uk/

is a nice site you can prob find something there

best bet would of been to stay in east london but with the olymics coming up them prices will be inflated

so maybe your better off looking south london... however south london is a joke area more time

arrrgghhh ive narrowed it down to 2 options. Live in hertfordshire/watford and commute

or just bite the bullet and pay this madness of £800 a month for somewhere i actually like. Its gonna hurt me though. I wanna stack not pay rent & bills and only have like £400 for the month.

My finanial breakdown for my rental plan -

One bed flat (real nice one) £1300 per month, so...

Sharing with GF so split rent = £650 PM rent.

Bills etc = £400

House living money (food etc) = £200

Money left for play = £8.50

That doesn't take into account deposits/agent fee's/tenancy agreements etc

I'm going to be f*cked.

Moving in with your girl eh?

Gwarn Jack.

Cheers boss. I'm terrified.

thats some next level prices boy, over 4 times the price of mine

I know, extortion. It's the Highbury Square flats though so it's pretty nice and the location is banging.
