That tune is big, i have never heard the original so i cant compare the two. I would just do as you said and take that mid out near the end, it takes away from the atmosphere in my opinion.But yea, thats a very good track.

if i was angry and heard this, it would push me rite over the edgehard choon, got a bit of a Young Dot feel to itonly thing i would change is the bass playing a few more notes, rather than long notes like that, but still like it how it is.

Thanks guys!I hear you on the notes Lens .. im guna keep em like that as its how i want the swing to be for the 1st portion of the track! (theres actually a slight osc goin on if you listen carefully)And then when it sorts of "ducks" on the kick the 2nd half, the transition works well i believe (based on personal opinion global feedback)Saying that, i agree i really could add a few more tones to it.Ironic really, as NORMALLY u cant stop me going crazy with it, i just wanted to try something different!But massive big ups for aking the time to comment.I will do the same as / when / if you need it!
