Netherlands first for hosts France

UEFA European Under-19 Championship hosts France will begin their finals campaign against the Netherlands after the match schedule for the July tournament was confirmed.

UEFA have confirmed the match schedule for the UEFA European Under-19 Championship finals in France with the hosts kicking off against the Netherlands on 18 July.

The match at the Stade Michel d'Ornano in Caen will be shown live on Eurosport, one of nine games the channel will be broadcasting during the tournament. Elsewhere on the opening day the other Group A fixture, between Austria and England, will be the first match to be screened live while the two Group B contests, in which Italy play Portugal and Croatia take on Spain, get the finals under way at 16.00CET.

Yeah but usually at these levels England do alright cos the characteristics of players they pick are either strong or fast or both, so they overpower teams. When the technical teams become men, strength and pace isn't enough.
