I bought a suit from Banana Republic recently for around £300 which I'm really happy with.

For around the £500 mark you could get a nice Hugo Boss suit.

sales are in full force at the moment so you shouldnt even needto look too hard in that price range.

Reiss, Jaeger, Paul Smith & Saville Row all do good suits and go in the bait shops like selfridges etc. This time of year you will defo find a bargain

the need for a suit has never come up in my life

work as a cameraman and never for less than a bill a day :Y:

DJ'in is something i do for fun but when people randomly say they'll pay me 2 do it i take the opportunity :Y:

You don't exist in real life, therefore Your fashion sense and career can be whatever You chose them to be, so of course now we're in a thread about suits You're gonna suddenly know suits after a few google searches. :Y:

Where would you reccomend buying a suit in or around London?

Dont really want to spend more than 4/500 and looking for something thats ready to wear. I think tailoring takes a few weeks.

Prefer casual style to a business one, but either would do for the right price.

Sorry I only shop at House of Boaten

edit: There isnt even a store called House of Boateng. Basically just do what I do and go Next they will hook you up innit.

Don't you live in Asia somewhere?

You can probably go get a tailored suit made to a very high standard for peanuts.

If you're a slim guy I would recommend Saville Row. I've found they have the best fit for my body type still..

Right now however

I'm looking for suit alternatives...

Trus certain combos out there make man look bawsed up, in a fresh 2010 mode and not like every other guy sat there

LOL there is no suit alternative if you are talking in terms of work and trying to make one would give the opposite impression to the one you're trying to promote. Will just make you look like a deviant / potential problem who will struggle to fit into an office environment.

If you're just talking casualwear then do you and ignore the above

I wasn't talking about job interviews.

BUT

Thinking about it, I see your point and fail to concur.

If you're able to back it up with what you speak, It can work.

its the same thing as turning up to an interview with a tattoo on your neck. It doesnt mean you're not the best person for the job but its an unnecessary thing thats looked upon as negative.

being able to back your talk without a tattoo on your neck gives you a better chance than being able to back your talk with a tattoo on your neck.
