DIDDY’S PASSION FOR…….GRIME?

Diddy’s legacy with Bad Boy is undeniable……but his passion for Grime isn’t.

The scene out here is very healthy. A lot of artists have figured out the game and are doing very well.

It’s taken us a minute, but we’re finally the kings of our own castle instead of looking to the U.S. scene for help or approval.

We’ve got our own radio hits, club bangers, merchandise lines, swagger, gold and Platinum artists.

Proportionately according to US/UK demographics, most of our artists are doing as good as any U.S. MC if not better [any doubts do your research, get the stats, then come and talk to me].

Don’t get it twisted, I’m not dissing Diddy, and i’m not trying to disrespect the Boy Better Know camp in anyway. But it has to be recognised that Skepta has been on the grind for a minute, he did the T-shirt thing with the rest of BBK internationally before anyone else, fact! and now he’s getting the radio play and the chart positions without anyone’s co-sign.

Diddy isn’t the first to get a UK remix, and he isn’t the first to work with UK artists, which is a shame because he’s been back and forth from the UK since 95′. Its a real shame that he’s only paying attention now, as he could have done so much more for our artists, he could have made an actual difference back then.

Doing a remix with a U.S. artist is cool, that helps the U.S. artist over here, it doesn’t help the UK artist over there. The equilibrium isn’t balanced.

Diddy!!! do videos for both mixes, get them played on BET US. BET are trying to crack the UK right? Make it an epic story, not a marketing exercise. Get our artists on stage with you in New York, not just at a bougie private members club in London. Put down the Ciroc for a minute, and lets work together.

As you can see, the RT’s have spoken, the UK wants to see it happen.

So now it’s time for business. Talk on Twitter is cheap.

If you want to crack our market, work with us to crack yours.

You know already, there’s a lot of pounds to be made out here, help us get those dollars.

You can do it. Lets go!!!

Easy bro, Wiley's king of Grime.

It's subjective ain't it?

I say Wiley's the Godfather of grime > Without him, all of this would be so different.

Skepta is doing it right now...best producer, best MC (in terms of bunning down stageshows), biggest networks = King of grime.

FWD v Rinse is gonna be a madness.
