My cd drive died on the same day; pissed

but one of my mates said that if u make up a fake invoice (obviously professional looking) and date it within the past 12 months fax it to sony they do a door step replacement. He did it on a ps2 coupla years ago, gonna try this in the next few weeks and see what happens
