TV For £200

Yo,

I have a budget of about £200-300 for a TV.

Built in freeview would be very useful as would HDMI but neither are vital.

I've found various deals / links etc here and there but I dont know if its a strictly known brands only thing or if I can trust something cheap and cheerful from a highstreet eletronics store like Curry's.

Not much of an enthusiast regarding HD/1080p etc so as long as the quality is better than some shady 15 inch CRT TV from about 5 years ago it will be an improvement!

Some random links Ive found doin a quick search:

Sony Bravia KDL22BX200BU 22-inch Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV with Freeview £199.99

Sanyo 32" CE32LD47-B LCD TV - HD Ready *GRADE STOCK* £270

DIGITREX CFD2671 26" HD Ready LCD TV £199.00

Thanks again.

Glasgow branch didnt have any of these left.

Edinburgh branch had one but box had been opened so not sure it coulda been ex-diplay, return or ex-repair wasnt really interesting in a 45 min drive to find out.

Ended up going with

Always happens to me when I go to Richer Sounds. Never have the TV that I looked up on their site then I end up coming home with a different, more expensive model.

it says freeview on the f*ck*ng box and sh*t

BUT THERES NO f*ckIN FREEVIEW TUNER IN THE SOURCE SELECT WTF?

If there is no freeview tuner I am going back tomorrow to kill someone. And get a refund.

false alarm

you cant receive freeview signal via an virgin media cable arial coz the digital tv companies do not broadcast terrestrial digital tv signals (the freeview stuff)

hooked it up to an old arial thats on the roof
