Dunno if thats oxymoron, need a laptop for uni, work, watching megavideo and hoarding music.

What would you recommend (no "higher price range answers")

i got this for 255 inc vat/del last week from DELL OUTLET, it is used but Certified Refurbished and comes with 1 Yr Collect & Return Warranty so im guessing it's like new.

refurb is returned goods that are checked and tested etc etc

i think used but replaced with original dell parts and checked over by dell so it's like a brand new pc from dell but cheaper because it's been sent back or something.

still can't find anything near as good value as this desktop i found for my friend around the beginning of the year

Ive bought a refurbished laptop.

My mate works at a store called EuroPC. They are an official dell repair partener or some sh*t, sell a lot of refurbished laptops.

I bought one about 3 years ago think it was like a year old when they got it. Served me fine (until a recent graphics problem).

Take what you want from that.
