Bioshock: Infinite

Plot

BioShock Infinite is set in 1912, prior to the events of the first two BioShock games, though it has little to do with the plot of the previous games. The primary setting is a city suspended in the air by giant blimps and balloons, called "Columbia". Unlike the secret development of the underwater city of Rapture, Columbia was proudly boasted by the American government when launched in 1900, centralized on the idea of American exceptionalism;[1] the reveal trailer for the game alludes to the 1893 Worlds Fair which historically considered to be the emergence of American exceptionalism.[2] Between its launch and the game's events, the well-armed city became involved in an "international incident", and the location of the city was soon lost from everyone else.[3] Like Rapture, Columbia is considered a failed utopia, with signs present suggesting a theocratic government taking control at some point, and similar racial-purification concepts such as nazism.[4][5][6] Columbia has been compared to a cross between steampunk and the Star Wars Bespin cloud city,[5] as well as the airships of Final Fantasy settings[4] though Irrational's Ken Levine has compared the weaponized city the equivalent of the Death Star.[7]

The main character is Booker DeWitt, a former, disgraced agent of the Pinkerton National Detective Agency. He is hired by individuals, aware of Columbia's location, to invade the air-city and rescue Elizabeth, a woman that was abducted as a girl and has been in the air-city since.[5] Though he finds Elizabeth easily enough, DeWitt quickly discovers that Elizabeth is central to the city's conflict, forcing DeWitt and Elizabeth to trust each other in order to escape.

Gameplay

BioShock Infinite is a first person shooter with role-playing game elements similar to the previous two games. As DeWitt, the player moves about the various structures of Columbia using a grappling hook and other transport means to search for Elizabeth. DeWitt has powers similar to those given by plasmids of the previous games; previews reported powers such as levitating weapons out of foes' hands and electrocuting them. Other powers are gained by breaking apart crow statues; one such power gained this way is the "Murder of Crows" that allows the player to direct a flock of crows to attack an enemy.[6] Once reunited with Elizabeth, who also has a set of such powers, the player must work together with her to escape Columbia. However, using Elizabeth's powers also harms her, an action compared to the choice of killing or saving the Little Sisters from the previous games.[5] Several different forces are at work opposed to the player's progress within the city.[1] Furthermore, the player and Elizabeth are chased by both a robotic-like monster housing a human heart, and a crow-like mechanical flyer that attempts to snatch Elizabeth from the player.

Yeah gameplays looking pretty nice

Enjoying the bright environments and the fact that the NPCs don't attack immediately

Something different

Also it looks like you have to use the power ups a bit more strategically, which should make the game a bit harder/ more complex

Finished a 4 hour session.

Great game so far but couple of minor things that are annoying such as not being able to carry more than two weapons at the same time  (Before you had every weapon)

Also doesn't visually show the weapon upgrades compared to before.

Otherwise, another great game.

Bioshock has been one of the best series on this current gen consoles.   Great games!   You can pick the other games for dirt cheap (This game doesn't relate to the other two)
