New Microsoft OS' cancelling out new spec lappys?

17 posts in this topic

i see it this way

Before the dual core XP was standard on a 1.8ghz processor and 500mb -1gb of ram

Vista Standard on a 1.7 Dual core with 1gb RAM

Windows 7 Standard Standard 2.0 with 2gb RAM

I'm not sure if I'm right but is 7 a big jump from Vista?

Cos to me its pointless at times getting a new PC only for half of the specs to be solely there to accomodate the OS

I wanna run millions of leagues in FM flawlessly

I have a 2007 Laptop with both Vista and Leopard installed

Vista is relatively OKish, but Leopard is fast and smooth.

Verdict: MS Sux

MS does suck, but you've got Windows installed on a machine built for OSX so obviously its not gonna be as good as it can be.

I still use xp on all my computers, i would rather have better performance than a fancy looking OS.

Windows 7 is basically an update to Vista.

If you run Vista from when you bought it, you should run 7 with no issues.
