The development code has been released, I think it's called PSGroove

So in theory with a USB circuit board you could plug it in to your PC directly through the USB and program it. Don't sound too hard.

Someone linked me to a page where some team is going to do it with a sixaxis/ds3 controller, b/c it has the necessary internals for it to work.

The hack seems very versatile, it's coming on PSP, already being made for Android and i'm assuming there should be one for the iPhone aswell.

I'd rather do it that way.

Not sure but I only found about it today and I am pretty sure it will always work - it just blocks the request for update from Sony.

I am going to keep it in place for now till I know more about this jailbreak thing.
