I agree. Too early and too expensive right now with not enough content. I'll look forward to watching AVATAR 3D in HD in the future though and very much look forward to trying some Call of Duty 3D.

I was gonna get one 3D LED tv before the WC, but decided against it, copped a plain LED tv instead.

I reckon it will be a ting in a couple years, 3D gaming will be sick, I'll wait till then.

Damn right, when I saw a film in 3D stuck on the pair they give you and it didn't feel right. Started to hurt and twitch my nose then had to lift them up a couple times.

You dont get the depth in HD as you do with 3D, hence why its 3D

I'm suprised at how relatively cheap 3DTV's have gone now. Was tempted to buy one myself. Seen some 55" 3D Plasma for like £500-600 - Infact why have Plasmas gone so much cheaper compared to LCD and LED. Didn't Plasma use to be more expensive?

LED and LCD tvs are basically the same, except LEDs use light emitting diodes for their backlighting. Your average person wouldn't tell the difference in a clear day. 3D tellys are pretty much pointless, the technology has been around for decades and I just don't see it being a standard for your average household. Plasma's produces the richest colours but its a shame that the high cost of maintenance and limitations render them pointless.
