The f*ck*ng prick wants too be Mayor again, hate this d*ckhead!

Ken Livingstone has vowed to oust Boris Johnson from City Hall after he was selected as Labour's candidate for the London mayoral elections of 2012.

Mr Livingstone, who has the might of the trade union movement behind him, said the mayoral vote in Olympic year will be a springboard to take on the coalition government and return Labour to power.

Sending a message to those worried by David Cameron and George Osborne's cuts, he said: "If you want them out, first vote Boris out."

Mr Livingstone beat former MP Oona King, scooping 68.6 per cent of votes to her 31.4 per cent and leading among both party activists and affiliated union members in the capital.

His victory - a day before Labour chooses its new national leader - sets the scene for a rerun of the 2008 poll, when he was defeated by Mr Johnson after eight years as mayor.

Branding the Tory mayor "a Robin Hood in reverse," Mr Livingstone said his task was now to turn out his "disastrous administration in City Hall."

He unveiled a platform of policies for his mayoral campaign, including a pledge to keep public transport fares lower than they would have been under Mr Johnson, funded by the extension of the road traffic congestion charge zone into west London.

Mr Livingstone predicted that Mr Johnson would be a tough opponent, who he said would be "well-financed by the rich and the powerful" and would seek to win by dividing London's outer suburbs from the less wealthy inner City.

"The London election in 2012 will be the chance to send a message to David Cameron and George Osborne that we don't want devastating cuts to our public services, fewer jobs and declining living standards," he declared.

Announcing the election result on her last day in the post, Labour's acting leader Harriet Harman told Mr Livingstone: "The whole of team Labour will be backing you, Ken."

Union leaders welcomed Mr Livingstone's selection as "great news" for working people across London.

Unison general secretary Dave Prentis said: "Ken has a great record in defending public services and improving the pay and living standards of low-paid workers.

"Ken's commitment to Londoners will be needed in the economic challenges that face the capital in the coming years."

The Unite union's regional secretary for London Steve Hart said that London deserved better than "Boris the do-nothing mayor.

"All that Londoners have seen under the Tory mayor is staggering increases in bus and Tube fares. Boris started the cuts before Cameron did."

Ucatt general secretary Alan Ritchie added: "Ken has always campaigned on key Ucatt issues such as increasing social housing for rent in the capital."

Dictorial prick!!!

He will stop the new red route buses from happening

He will go ahead with the western extension charge when Boris will stop it

LOL at voting for this d*ckhead for the only reason that he is making your bus/train fare 10p cheaper

This. I hate Tories but Ken is making me feel to vote for Boris just to make sure he never EVER has any sort of power again. Guy is a d*cktator, will never listen to the public and what WE want. Boris is a joke but never as waste as Ken tbh.

livingstone's an idiot. the whole mayoralty is crap anyway,

lol@ being a mayor when your only real power is police and transport, with a little spare change for pet projects, which in kens case it was to lick boots of ultra communists begging for "cheap oil" for a useless bus that in the end never came. Also shows how much 'diversity' there really is within labour.

the only thing effective a london mayor can do right now is make transport harder for drivers, and commuters alike. nothing else. so no point voting for ken who will only promise the world. he thinks the mayoralty is his birthright and people are stupid for have ever voted for him tbh.
