Gears of War 3 has been pushed back from it's original release date of April 2011 to November 2011.

While the game IS on track to be released by the original date it is felt that with no big franchise titles beyond Call of Duty in the 2011 Christmas lineup, it made financial sense to push the release date back to the fall period to secure maximum sales.

The good news is that with the game pushed back, a Beta has been announced for release sometime next year.
