the fact that we use a sexagesimal system to express the passage of time is arbitrary imo.

time as it exists in the real world is basically duration, the duration it takes an object to travel from point a to point b.

there are philosophies that believe that u can transcend time/duration and thus be at point a and point b and all the infinite points in space at the same moment i.e omnipresent i.e god.

im saying it doesnt matter whether theres 60 secounds in a minute or 100, 60 just makes the maths neater.
