Building computers and shifting them

12 posts in this topic

One of my boys got me thinking about this

I have the neek credentials to do this competently

Like build a gaming PC and shift it on ebay for a 20% profit maybe?

Obv parts could cost money but they'll essentially be paying for labour

Not enough money in it.

Parts aint that much cheaper and shops will have roughly the same specs for roughly the same prices.

Difference is, you can have quality components if you build it yourself.

no.

ebay will keep close to 15% of your earnings just for using their services. not worth it.

look into making iphone applications.

You'd have to have some proper economies of scale to make it worth while. Unless you've got a good investment amount its not gonna be worthit.

tbh if ur building to orders u should be fine

jus dont build one with the intention of findin a customer for it

ebay thing is maybe bad idea as computer componants lose value so fast

It's really easy for people to make their own computers tbh & as mentioned, the money will be similar to shop prices.

It's not worth it, most big electrical stores only make a 4-6% percent profit on computer hardware, which is why PC world love to sell people Norton and all them attachments, because they make more profit on all their ink cartridges and sh*t.
