Today's London Metro newspaper printed the word "Nigger" in full.

Please email them ( maybe not to complain, but to let them no this was not needed and isn't acceptable ) [email protected]

page 36, article called "N-Word out of Twain classic"

The word "nigger" has been removed from a new edition of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn"

"Nigger appears 219 times in Huckleberry Finn"

also, another quote earlier in the paper, where they did censor it

And last month he was under fire for using the words "n****r" and "p***" ( re Frankie Boyle )

ahhh great another lame hypocritical bandwagon. yeah the N word was used over 200 times in the 1880's when the book was first published.

fastforward to 2011 and you will the same word used about the same amount of times in the average HIphop track of your favorite artist,

Listening to hip-hop and having issues with the use of the word aren't necessarily contradictory.

when you dont have a problem with it but suddenly do when its used in a much lighter context i.e. reporting something AS IS then it is.

although my personal opinion is its completely contradictory period.

it was uncensored.

when they quote people using the word, they always censor it, i don't see why in this case it was meant to be differently

the book uses the word for historical and educational purposes, which is cool

hip hop uses it on uncensored versions of songs with a parental advisory sticker

this is a newspaper given out for free at every london underground station, using it for journalistic purposes, with no age restrictions

also the online version of the article has been edited to include stars
