Surely Welbeck, Sturridge, Walker, Smalling all good enough for the senior team?Seems like a case of Capello not dropping the oldies again smh

Reaching slightly IMO.Only Rodwell can make a serious claim for me.Smalling maybe... But more so next squad... Same for Walker. Probably same for Welbeck if he continues his previous form before the injury.

you know what it is we need defoe to have his run now so he starts against madrid because crouch is gonna do nothing against carvalo and pepe, need them channels worked when ramos and marcello are out of position

tbh rodwell doesnt deserve it atm, can barley force his way into the everton team.Sturridge, walker, and smalling all on form... welbeck deffo if he gets back to pre injury form.

Our defence today should beWalker - Cuellar - Baker - Delph
:!:
Trust. Got a quid on over 5.5 goals :D /Walker looks very good (so much so I'd be willing to swap him for Ashley considering his contract situation), but if he's England class just yet then the national side has serious problems./Know I'm very much in the minority but I really don't see anything special in Rodwell.

Rodwell has more games than all of them. IMO he should have been called upto one of the friendlies.Yeah but its about 6-8 games on form, that can't be really all it takes to get into the England squad.I get it in the full back positions, cos England aren't blessed in talent or numbers in those positions.
