North London rapper/producer Iron Barz gives us “Blue Cheese”, his 8th

mixtape in a career that started with his debut release “What’s Hilly

Good” in 2006 under independent music Road Royalty, at the time run by

Major Music/BMI Publishing producer/songwriter Semothy Jones.

Coming up through his cousin’s acclaimed Tribal Tree studio (a breeding ground for

top UK talent such as Plan B, N-Dubz, Semothy Jones amongst many others)

Iron honed his craft as both an MC and producer, performing in various

well-known UK venues Jazz Café & Cargo as well as overseas in Czech

Republic & The Netherlands alongside high-profile UK artists Plan B, Wiley

and Ms Dynamite to name a few.

Having been an integral part of the rising multimedia company RoadSound Entertainment from the get-go Iron has

continued his graft, producing UK Funky hit “I Pray” in 2010, which

received praise and playlist support in the UK, US and Japan as well as

the intro tracks for SN1’s Killa Ki’s latest releases. Multi-talented is

perhaps an understatement, but Iron isn’t about to rest on his laurels; as

an integral part of the Roadman Records imprint he continues to work with

emerging talent Swish lynch, Rick Green, Slimm Nuggz etc. while putting

together his own releases. 2011 doesn’t look like things will slow down

for Iron Barz either, so make sure you get knowledgable now!
