Question about latest Mac stuff

Okay, so someone in the family needs to cop a Mac. The Mac Rumors site is saying wait until the latest iMac comes out 'cause its due for an upgrade and so and so

What I need to ask is, does the UK and US get the same stock at the same time?

When they do release a new line the Apple website will state if there are different release dates. With the latest Macbook Pros they released them at the same obviously just at different times in the day because of the time zones. Depends completely on Apple but with actual mac and macbooks I think they release them at the same time as they're not like the iphone or ipad.
