1104 Arsenal made more touches in the opposition penalty area than any other side in 2010-11

1500 Following their 3-0 home win over West Ham on 29 August 2010, Manchester United became the first team to win this many points in the Premier League era

1968 The last English top-flight season to see a higher goals-per-game rate than 2010-11 (2.80) was 1967-68 (3.03)

1993 The youngest player to play in the Premier League in 2010-11 was Liverpool's Jack Robinson, born on 1 September 1993

3420 The Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel and the Everton full-back Leighton Baines were the only two outfield players to play every single minute of the 2010-11 Premier League season

FOOTBALL STATS

Arsenal

* In a table constructed from games played after the Carling Cup final, Arsenal's points-per-game total puts them in 14th - below Wigan, Wolves and Blackburn.

* Robin van Persie has scored in Arsenal's last nine Premier League away games - a record for the competition.

* His 18 PL goals this season have come in just 1770 minutes of football to give him a goal ever 98 minutes. In comparison, Dimitar Berbatov has scored every 105 minutes and Carlos Tevez every 120 minutes.

Aston Villa

* Villa have ended the season as best-placed Midlands side for the eighth successive year.

* Villa's results over the last eight games (W4, D3, L1) puts them fourth in the form table.

* Stewart Downing has created more chances than Ashley Young in the PL this season (77 v 68).

Birmingham City

* Birmingham have had a higher net transfer spend (approx. £36m) over the last two years than any PL club barring Manchester City and Chelsea.

* Cameron Jerome has not scored in over 31 hours of Premier League football.

* City have averaged just three shots on target per PL game this season.

Blackburn Rovers

* If PL matches ended after 45 minutes, Blackburn would have finished the season in fourth place.

* Although they finished seven points worse off than last season, they have scored five more goals in 2010/11.

* Steve Kean has won more points since taking over as Blackburn boss in December than Bolton manager Owen Coyle (as well as the three relegated managers).

Blackpool

* Blackpool conceded 22 goals in their last seven games away from home.

* According to Opta, Charlie Adam created as many goalscoring chances (64) this season as Luka Modric and Nani.

* They scored more goals from corners (12) than any other PL club.

Bolton Wanderers

* Bolton have showed relegation form (17 points from 18 games) in 2011.

* They have hit 18.6% of their passes over 35 yards this season. Only Birmingham and Stoke have a higher percentage.

* Kevin Davies conceded 123 fouls this season. The next biggest offender was Newcastle's Cheik Tioté on 79.

Chelsea

* Chelsea recorded their lowest points total (71) since they finished fourth in 2002/2003.

* Chelsea ended the season with a worse record against top-half sides than West Brom.

* Didier Drogba has had more shots on target than any other PL player this season (51) but scored only 12 goals. Carlos Tevez scored 20 goals from 45 shots on target.

Everton

* Leighton Baines is one of only two outfield players to feature in every minute of PL football this season. The other is Martin Skrtel.

* Everton have remained unbeaten in their last 11 games at Goodison Park.

* The second halves (post January) of Everton's last two seasons have reaped 71 points from 38 games.

Fulham

* Fulham are one of only three teams in the top half of the table (along with Man City and Sunderland) who have improved their points total from last season.

* Their defensive record has only been bettered by the four teams who have qualified for the Champions League.

* But they have only beaten one team (West Brom) from the top half of the table.

Liverpool

* Liverpool finished closer to the relegation zone than the top of the Premier League.

* Lucas tops the PL charts for both 'tackles won' and 'tackles lost' this season.

* Only Chelsea and Manchester United have been in better form than Liverpool since Kenny Dalglish took over the club in January.

Manchester City

* Man City have ended the season as the best team in the Premier League over the last eight games.

* They have picked up four more points than last season but scored 13 fewer goals in the process.

* They have dropped only 11 points against bottom-half sides - giving them the best record in the PL against the division's minnows.

Manchester United

* United have completed a whole season unbeaten at Old Trafford for the first time since 1999-2000.

* Even without their away points, United would have finished just three points behind Liverpool in seventh.

* All of Nemanja Vidic's six bookings in the league this season have come away from Old Trafford.

* Newcastle United

* Only Manchester United have scored more home goals than Newcastle this season. The Toon have averaged more than two goals per game at St James'.

* Alan Pardew has averaged 1.23 points per game in charge of Newcastle - almost exactly the same as Chris Hughton's average 1.18 points.

* They did not benefit from an own goal until their very last strike of the season v West Brom.

* Stoke City

* Stoke hit 19.9% of their passes over 35 yards or more this season - the highest percentage in the division.

* Defeat to Wigan on the final day ended a run of 11 league and cup games unbeaten at the Britannia Stadium in 2011.

* According to Opta, Stoke have not dominated possession in any game in three complete Premier League seasons (The BBC may state otherwise but their stats count Rory Delap drying the ball as 'possession').

Sunderland

* Wins in their last two away games have propelled Sunderland to sixth in the away table for the season.

* ...But they won just one of their last eight games at the Stadium of Light.

* They lost 23 points from winning positions this season - those points would have put them in fourth place.

Tottenham Hotspur

* Tottenham have won only once in six games against the Premier League's three relegated sides this season.

* Roman Pavlyuchenko has scored a league goal every 159 minutes for Spurs - way better than Peter Crouch (486 minutes) or Jermain Defoe (370 minutes).

* They have drawn more home games (nine) than any other PL club this season.

West Brom

* Roy Hodgson's West Brom have picked up exactly the same number of points (20) as Liverpool from their last 12 games of the season.

* The Baggies have a better record against top-half sides than either Chelsea or Manchester City.

* They have picked up a massive 27 points from losing positions this season.

West Ham

* West Ham conceded 21 goals in their last eight winless games in the Premier League

* The aggregate score from the eight games not started by Scott Parker this season is 20-5 to the Hammers' opposition.

* The Hammers' 33 points is the biggest haul of any bottom-placed side since Wolves in 2003-04.

Wigan

* Charles N'Zogbia either scored or assisted seven of Wigan's last 11 goals of the season.

* The Latics conceded less than half as many goals away from home (27) as last season (55).

* Wigan's form over the last nine games was the sixth best in the Premier League - better than that of Tottenham or Arsenal.

Wolves

* Wolves were the worst team in the Premier League against bottom-half sides this season and picked up 50% more points against top-half teams.

* Matt Jarvis created 60 chances for teammates this season but only six were converted. Cesc Fabregas created 61 chances and 11 were turned into assists.

* Wolves picked up just one point from 12 games they were losing at half-time this season.
