Video editing software

I needa download an easy enough video editing software..

Something with a few generic soundclips in them.. I've got a wedding video that i wanna extract the best parts from with my own soundtrack added on top..

Whats best? Will windows movie maker suffic? Ideally i wanna add text and stuff during the video such as an arrow and some text pointing to a person at a given time...

What you guys suggest

Sony Vegas. I dunno about adding text and such, maybe movie maker will work.

Windows Movie Maker should do what u want

I guess Adobe Priemire and After effects will doe verything u need but are harder to get
