MatchTALK: Swansea

We will (if they don't get injured in internationals!) have Sagna, Gibbs & Vermaelen, so our back line wont be AS sh*t as the OT match. As much as people wont like me saying this but if we had Song playing, I am 100% sure they would not have scored more than 4 goals against us as he would have covered the shitty defence we had. Though Wenger tries to make him some b 2 b player, his covering for the mistakes of the defence is most of the time good. Can not wait for the Gervinho to come back and dash Ashavin on the bench and the main back four to be back properly.

Great performance Arsenal.

We actually looked solid in the first time for 5 years.

We knew when to inject pace and when to kill the game

Frimpong was excellent in covering our fullbacks and protecting Ramsey/Arteta

Arteta is actually more of a box to box man, loves to put his foot in and add steel to the midfield which is surprising as I expected him to influence the game through creativity.

Liked the look of Benneyoun, theres something about his movment that's fast and fluid, he looks very quick and strong for his age.

Mertesacker played a blinder, made one outstanding tackle in the first half on edge of the area and really he was always there to cover for Kosicelney who in faireness was the more dominant of our CBs today whilst Mertesacker was more reliable to be inthe right place at right time.

Have to say you could instantly tell the experience is such a plus, players running into the right positions at the right time, you can't underestimate how important that is to making a great team and we really look back in the big time now.

Schezney gets better and better each game.

Robin worked like a trooper up top which probably isn't too his liking but has to start upping his game in front of goal and creativity wise, looks like he's trying to score to lift his confidence more than find other players in better positions.

We played direct for like 10 minutes and Chamakh looked a new player getting onto a wonderful Gibbs cross, a real new variation to our game there!

Ramsey was dominant again, very elusive on the ball and really he covered the most ground and looked the player to start and finish moves.

Coquelin the only bright hope out of Manchester United game come on and found himself in the midst of a few quality challenges, he's actually quite creative on the ball which could make him an Arsenal player in the future added to his excellent agile body and ability to cover rapid amounts of ground in short time.

Can't fault Theo for arguing with officials, he's English and a national team regular, a poster boy and clean cut. Officials will take on his compliants better than most our players especially the foreign ones with their broken English... and after doing it, Theo got decisions going in his favour. Like the Caulker yellow.

Benayoun was abit too eager to impress but he looks like he'll do well, guy moves with the ball, dribbler. Arteta also looked solid, had nice interchanges with Ramsey and Van Persie, looked a bit flummoxed at how narrow we play though, obvs we wouldn't be like that if we had an outlet on the wing but ANYWAY.

Scezney is just getting better and better, when he comes out he's always looking to claim it or punch anyway, rushes out early as well.

Gibbs is inconsistent, needs to work on his crossing cah bar the ball for Chamakh he was mostly putting it into defenders.

Mertesaker slotted in well, him and Kos did pretty well in fact.
