yeh they're highly rated but using the bog standard logic plugs and actually knowing what ur doing with them will get u a better result than flinging on a preset and hoping for the best coz the software was expensive.

your right but I feel logics og sounds require the user to create and synthesise there own sounds

just using the stock sounds presets = flat results imo

Using presets does not cut it

If you do everything manually whilst it takes longer, you can cultivate your own sound

Yeh c/s, although using synth presets is sometimes acceptable, especially when ur after a widely used sound (eg roland alpha Juno synth stab or detuned Hoover lead), it's how you process them after that counts, but it's always good to fuck about and learn how stuff works tho, also if u feel like ur synth sound is lacking, try running it thru some guitar effects and amp sims to grit it up a bit.
