Results but not performance

After watching the past two wins albeit we are in a bit of a mad patch and yes we got the points I can't help but cringe at my tv screen.

The Greeks carved our defence open like fuggin doner kebabs a number of times and it just set me at unease, too much space between our back 4 and the midfield when we attack, I only enjoy that end to end shit when it isn't us.

To be honest bar a few players like Arteta we look pants, and I do worry for that day if the scum come at us all guns blazing.

Mate we gotta start from somewhere

dont underestimate the power of momentum

the fastest car in the world has to start from 0mph

Confidence is the other issue

you can tell certain players are 50/50 with confidence and considering whats happened in the last few months its even a wonder we can pull off 3 victories in a row

Imagine certain players apart from RVP geting their confidence back, shit dont get me gassed man

keep the faith

We will not get Havard, don't know why guys like you are still dreaming about the guy. Yes, would be good, but Arsenal as a company will not spend what is required to BUY him (Yes, I want him to come to Arsenal too Turkish, but I am seeing reality).

TBH, I could see us buying Tarrabt, if the price is right for the gay lord Board of Directors.

You can say the team lacks quality, but really the same problems of years exist. Failure to finish teams spirit off with poor finishing, and failure to prevent cheap goals from set-pieces.

Blackburn, Gervinho should either pass to van Persie and him make it 3-1, before HT.

Yesterday, Chamakh should make it 3-0 before their goal.

Bolton never really tested us at set-pieces.

Olympiakios caught us out with the short corner and then good movement in the box.

Momentum or confidence ain't saving this team. Quality is missing and I'm more then happy to see us grind out these results until January then getting Hazard in, we NEED an injection of star quality. This team as it is isn't scaring anyone.

I do believe the team is good enough to get 4th, a bit of confidence and our style of play should see us get 4th

co-sign True Fan..Yao Kouassi has been a major culprit, Newcastle, Blackburn, Dortmund even Bolton on sat 1st half when he was through on goal but had a heavy touch and Jussi smothered him, he coudda turned those results into points with a bit more composure

Thats why Spurs are a threat coz they have Sheyi up top who is capable of shooting them into the top 4 not to mention VDV who is a double figures and handful of assists man

Also don't be fooled we aren't grinding out results nun-huh no way.

Grinding out results requires a strategy to effectively shut down the game ala the Mourinho Chelsea days where he was the master, Hodgson is good at this too.

Now us, we catch life too often for a top team, with our gung-ho style and horrible, vomit inducing defence.

Well I've seen quality players do this for years... Lets not act like van Persie, Fabregas, Nasri, etc haven't been culprits.

But we're talkin about the team as a whole

When we used to finish off teams and defend better it's no coincidence we had better players then

Add Tottenham Hotspur to the list

He shudda burried his chance, at least hit the target

He started pissing me off in his 1st game against Newcastle with his nonsense

The only positive is when he does find his feet and fully adapts he will convert these chances but fuck me he cudda changed our season and thats no exaggeration

I make that 5 games now where he has squandered fantastic opportunities at KEY moments

We dont have the confidence let alone the quality to continue playing this possesion style football. Against shit like Bolton, swansea etc we can get away with it but against anything decent its going to be a struggle, especially when you add in the way we "defend"(and wilshere not being there).

As for Gerboue, I read/heard lots of journalists/french football fans saying that hes good but he will 100% frustrate you on many occasions, so not really unexpected.

The only thing saving Yao Kouassi is history

We know Pires, Bergkamp, Henry, Wiltord, Reyes, Adebayor all started off slowly and missed chances

We know from his time with Lille that Yao Kouassi is a man who scores goals and gets into double figures

You have to be there to miss and at least he is getting into the right areas...but dear dear

Quality or not, United done this NUMEROUS times last season and no one batted an eye lid.

Until the confidence comes, 3 points please.

Sunday either kick starts our good run or halts us and sends us right back to square 1...

Very different scenarios

That's what happens when you shop at a club like Lille and don't even cop the best player

Some Eboue with curtains

LOOOOOOOOOOL

Wenger: 'I felt we played with the handbrake on'

Pretty sure he said the same a few weeks ago. (and many other times the past 5 years)

The Club can confirm that Bacary Sagna sustained a fracture to the fibula in his right leg during the match against Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon.

Further detailed investigations and assessments will take place on Monday, during which time Bacary will see ankle specialists and the Arsenal medical team regarding the further management of his injury.

It is expected that Bacary will be out for approximately three months and a surgical procedure cannot be ruled out at this stage.

Everyone at the Club wishes Bacary a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him playing again as soon as possible.
