luckily ive converted to the layout of 10 so im happy with it...think its much better

The FL 10 layout would be better if every pattern was automatically locked to each row automatically... but then I guess that would cause issues with inserting automation.

Frankly they need a proper fixup. One instrument per row, then make the step sequencer like Maschine's.
