Manchester City and Chelsea are locking horns in the battle to sign one of Europe's top young talents Christian Eriksen.

Chelsea have fired an opening salvo, testing Ajax's resolve to hang on to the 19-year-old midfielder with a £22million offer, but City are ready to step in with a bid of about £30m.

Guy is too sick, when he comes prem within 18 months he will be one of the best in the League. Told you TF they will go for Hazard same reason they will go for Eriksen.

If he goes Chelsea then errr him and Mata will put in that Chris and Snoop type of work

Where you think he will end up? How good do you think he will be? Would you want him at your club?

Wouldn't be suprised if he is playing for Barcelona in 4/5 years time

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Please let him be at Ajax.

He should only go where he will play constantly. Not on a bench thing. That or La Liga.

Matter of fact.

The 19-year-old midfielder's agent Martin Schoots revealed back in August that City approached him to discuss a transfer, but Eriksen wasn't interested in a move to Eastlands as he feels he isn't ready yet to step up to a bigger league.

"That decision made a lot of sense to me," Laudrup said to Ekstra Bladet. "His choice to stay with Ajax was the right one in my opinion.

"When the chance to move abroad comes again, he'll have to think hard about what he wants and what will be best for his career.

"He'll have to decide which country fits his style of play best. It's clear that he will move to one of the four big leagues one day. I'd say that the Spanish league would be the best option for him if he leaves Ajax."

You seen him play live before?

Last month in Copehagen against Portugal he is too much

nothing like Cruyff(Modric is in terms of style play) he is more like Laudrup(that's a huge statement)
