Arsène Wenger says Bacary Sagna will miss Euro 2012 after fracturing his right fibula against Norwich.

The France international came off on a stretcher in the 33rd minute of Arsenal's 3-3 draw at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

And Wenger says Sagna will miss this summer's tournament in Ukraine and Poland.

"The season is over for him. He will not play in the Euros," he said. "It is the same leg [he fractured against Tottenham Hotspur in October]."

"It has not happened alone, he has been kicked on the leg. I don't know exactly what happened and will have to see it on the television again."

The fracture sustained on Saturday is a different injury and is higher in Bacary's fibula than the original injury suffered in October.

Bacary will see specialists over the next few days and developments will be updated on Arsenal.com in due course.

'He did it on purpose!' Sagna accuses Bradley Johnson of deliberately breaking his leg

Sagna, 29, could face a battle to be fit for the start of next season and will definitely miss the Euros when France are due to play England in their Group opener on June 11.

Bacary Sagna has angrily accused Norwich midfielder Bradley Johnson of deliberately wrecking his Euro 2012 hopes.

Arsenal right back Sagna suffered a broken fibula after a clash with Johnson during the first half of their draw at the Emirates.

"I think he did it on purpose," said Sagna. "He stepped on my leg. Play continues, I get back on my feet. And when I tried to control the ball, I felt a crack, just like the first time at Tottenham.

"He stepped right where the plate was. I think the plate pressured (the bone). It's a neat break, just above the plate.

"That's how it is. It's football. It has happened to others before me. I came back once, I will come back a second time. Even stronger."
