Monitors

Am after a budget pair of monitors for about £100, what do you guys suggest?

I have huge floor standing ones but take up too much space and there's just too much bass; gonna give em to the old man.

Will be mainly used for DJ'ing.

you'd be better off getting a decent set of hi fi speakers, more bang for your buck that way, monitors are for unflattering listening of your own stuff rather than for reproducing high SPL levels on small systems. if you were ever going to use them for production it would be different (although i'm not sure what you'd get for a 100)

Thought this, but I currently have floor standing with two woofers and a single tweeter, which are too bass heavy.

I've got the wharfedale diamond pro's which are apparently very similar just magnetically shielded.

Would defo recommend them, even more so at that price.

if youre buying cheap monitors dont mix down on em.....just tweak on your monitors..mix on hi fi speakers..den play them thru monitors and adjust....also same with heaphones too.
