How important is a good website to you?

Just a random thought of the day but lets say you are applying for a job or buying a product in particular...

How important is the look of the website to you?

Like beyond useablity and that, how important are simple aesthetics to you?

Have you ever been made to feel a company is less adequate than it actually truly may be because of a shitty site?

Any experiences you care to share?

Very important.

Most times the website would have some really good content, but because of the layout of the website and how un user friendly/confusing it is one would click off of it the moment they click onto it.

Colour scheme, layout and how much content you have per page is very important when creating a website, because those are the deciding factors whether or not you will have regulars or one off visitors.

If the site looks sh*t I'm out, no excuses for having a 2001 looking site in 2012.

Same as if I went to a shop and it was a f*ck*ng mess, with sh*t from the 80's still lying around I am going to leave.

This is why I can't stand TK Maxx

Yeah I cant stand that shop either.
