Bayern Munich's allocation of home tickets ahead of the new Bundesliga season have been met with an overwhelming response by fans.

The Allianz Arena, the Bavarian club's home ground, was due to continue receiving ticket orders until July 15, but it now appears seating has been sold out 45 days before 2012-13 kicks off.

"I would like to thank all fans for their great interest and support of Bayern very much," gushed CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge to the club's official website.

"This confirms how attractive and popular Bayern Munich is."

Die Roten open their campaign on August 25 against Greuther Furth in the Bavarian derby, before entertaining Stuttgart in their first home game on September 2.

The state-of-the-art Allianz Arena notably played host to last season's Champions Leaguefinal, which Jupp Heynckes men coincidentally lost to Chelsea in front of a majority of their own supporters.

there was a boycott when schalke 04 increased prices to €22 in one of the biggest derbies against borussia

most tickets are less then €20 and with that you also get free public transport on that day

A lot of the clubs limit the amount of season tickets so that everyone gets a chance to watch the team

The 50 + 1 rule prevents any takeovers as the club is always majority owned by the fans.

Showing the world how to do things.

Fan owned clubs, Pretty much

Majority run correctly

Still competing successfully

Great modern stadia

Still producing excellent youth who develop into good international players

Ticket prices are affordable to the average man.
