Skola
More for the mixed / black people but everyone feel free to contribute. Basically I tan really easily and get dark quickly. I had this moment when I was walking on the beach in Spain thinking 'this is nice everyone is some shade of light brown here kinda like me' then I looked at my arms and thought 'am I f*ckin black?' I was only away a week and I come back to find Im darker than my dad and one other African friend I seen today. So mixed race people how do you take to the sun? Black people do you get darker when you go abroad?

Haze-e
In all honesty though when black people are "sun kissed" it's hard to find more radiant looking skin.

Soca Junkie
I'm dark skin and i still tan/peel. I think i look better darker that holiday sunshine has me feeling super fresh. I've always imagined you to be light skin for some reason. I usually tan nicely... I've been burnt once and that was in America 10 years ago. Dunno what happened there. When I went to Ghana in '05 I turned caramel. Wish I never came back and lost that glow

KayGee
im mixed but light (yellow) I tan well and keep a fairly decent colour until it gets real cold. My only gripe is that I get very orange before I golden due to the yellow tones
