Only if there is 100% no doubt the person committed the crime

It costs more money to put someone to death than for them to serve a life sentance and die in prison.

Just saying

backup this claim, it costs on avg 30k a year or so for a prisoner.

this c*nt will get minimum 25years

25x30= 750k

im usually of the view that humans shouldnt choose who lives or dies and its for god to decide, but in certain cases the crime is so disgusting that i see no place for the person on earth and should be disposed of.

Definitely, as long as there is 100% proof the person was guilty. Guys like Stuart Hazell should get tortured for a few months first and made to die of starvation or some other horrific death, maybe a mix of starvation and sleep deprivation until he is found dead.

This is true.

They could break his back or paralyse him, make sure he is in pain for the rest of his life

Bringing back the dealth penalty ain't going to defer psychopaths mate, i'm sure many would rather get killed than do 30+ years tbh.

Both valid points @ Stacks and BSOM.

Nobody REALLY wants the death penalty, but I am an advocate of vigilante force where necessary. State has no right to dictate whether someone lives or dies, even though they essentially do anyway.

Just do what China do

Give out 200 years sentences.

You forget that people can be on death row anywhere between 10 -20 years. So you're already paying that 30k average a year. while still paying for the legal cost of putting someone to death.

I remember when I debated this before with someone. Check the link below

http://deathpenaltyinfo.org/costs-death-penalty

Also c/s ice death is too easy for these lot.

There's a good movie / doc about this where there's an innocent guy on death row, can't put my finger on it.

It shouldn't even be considered unless there is FULL proof / confession etc
