Americans get 50k for every gold medal from their olympic association or whatever

dont think team GB get sh*t apart from that sponsorship and appearance fees etc

within 2 days of the algerian gold medallist being back he received a brand new golf from vw, a 50k gift from an oil company and signed a 4 year sponsorship deal with a mobile phone company.

Hes just gone to race in the diamond league but when hes back im sure he'll have more offers waiting.

uk people in the olympics do not get ANYTHING or winning medals.

however the americans and other countries do.

only thing team GB get is prior or new sponsorship deals. thats it.

(as seen with adverts like adidas/pantene/etc etc...)
